Bhagavad Gita - Hindi Chapter 12 Part - 27

In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 12, Bhakti Yog, The Yog of Devotion] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.

Shree Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita to surrender all deeds to God. Humans commit both-sinful and pious deed. Is Shree Krishna asking humans to surrender even the sinful deeds? This question was once asked to Jagagdguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. Answering the question he said that we need to offer pious actions to God not our sins otherwise people will start committing sin and say "I am offering it to God so it is ok". Thus, Swami Mukundananda in this episode says, "people should take responsibility of their bad deeds."
If there is anything which God despise then it is the pride or ego. One must shed this pride to get God.

So why do we need to be scared of difficulties that occur on the path of spiritual enlightenment?

Bhagavad Gita in Hindi Chapter 12 Part - 14

In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 12, Bhakti Yog, The Yog of Devotion] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.

Illusion is created due to darkness. Where there is light there is no illusion. God is like that light and ignorance is like darkness. Where there is God there is no ignorance. Due to ignorance we take ourselves as body, so we run after bodily pleasure. But the fact is, we are not body but soul inside the body. Soul will be happy only when we provide it God's bliss.

Bhagavad Gita in Hindi Chapter 12 Part - 13

Why does everybody in this world seek for happiness? Nobody taught us to seek happiness, it came naturally. Why? To understand this, first we need to understand definition of God as described by Vedas. Watch the lecture by Swami Mukundananda on "Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12" to get the answer.

In this episode, Swamiji picks the following sloka from Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12:

Before God-realization we cannot contemplate on the true form of God. Our mind is under the influence of Maya, so whatever form of God we create in our mind, is Mayic. But God, being all merciful and considerate, accepts whatever form we have created as His true form. He looks at our bhav not what we have created.

In this episode, he covers the following line of Bhagavad Gita Ch-12

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part - 15

First of all surrender to a Guru before starting sadhana (spiritual practice). Swami Vivekananda said, "The living secrets must be passed down through the master to a disciple in every science much more so in spiritual science."

Swamiji in this episode explains following lines from the kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare" (साधना करु प्यारे) by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part - 14

Devotion is dynamic thing. The worldly nectars are such that they are constantly decreasing and then they finish. Whatever appears to be very blissful to you right now, if you keep savoring it the bliss keeps on decreasing. This is the nature of worldly bliss.

Swami Mukundananda in this episode explains following lines from the kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare" (साधना करु प्यारे) by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part - 13

Is there any difference between Radha and Durga? If yes, then what is the difference and if no, how? Swami Mukundananda in this episode of "Secrets of Spiritual Practice" gives a clear answer to this.

Swami Mukundananda in this episode explains following lines:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part - 12

Swami Mukundananda in this episode explains following lines:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part - 11

"Swami Mukundananda in this episode explains following lines:

The mind should be attached to the divine realm alone, nowhere else in the world. Neither to the family nor to the worldly object nor to prestige or material situation. Shree Krishna has repeatedly said in Bhagavad Gita that if a person engages in single minded devotion of God, He will take full care of that person. He further says, "I am easily attained by those who practices single-minded devotion.

Sadhana karu Pyare Part - 10

1. Consider yourself to be more insignificant than a blade of grass and become more tolerant than a tree.
2. Give respect to others but do not seek respect for yourself.
3. Always chant God's name.

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in his "Shikshashtaka" stated these 3 points as basic principles for a devotee.

Now, five hundred years later, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj repeats the same principles in these lines of "Sadhana Karu Pyare" (साधना करु प्यारे).

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part-9

It is not that God is watching us sometimes, He is watching us all the time. Bring this thought into your conscious awareness. At present we have the awareness of "I am" but we escape the thought of "God and Guru are with me". We need to practice thinking "God is with me". As a result, our mind will be attached to God-Guru while we do our daily chores and we will automatically start offering our works to Him. This is the state of Karmyoga.

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part-8

In this episode of the series of discourses on Kripaluji Maharaj's kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare"(साधना करु प्यारे), Swami Mukundananda says covers these lines:
As you keep these principles (explained in previous episodes of the series), your longing for Sri Krishna will keep increasing. It should increase to the point where one moment seems like an age. Such longing will take you to Sri Krishna. In other words, deep longing for God will unite you with God. Swamiji further explains how deep should be the longing.

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part-7

In this episode of the series of discourses on Kripaluji Maharaj's kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare"(साधना करु प्यारे), Swami Mukundananda talks about the most difficult aspect of devotion-selflessness. Lines covered in this episode:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part-6

Even by mistake, do not do durbhawana (ill will) anywhere. Bringing ill will in mind is as bad as developing attachment to the world. Attachment to the world comes in many form. It can come in the form of attraction or repulsion. In both cases the mind goes to the world.

Lines covered in this episode:

Sadhana Karu Pyare Part-5

In this episode of the series of discourses on Kripaluji Maharaj's kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare"(साधना करु प्यारे), Swami Mukundananda talks about techniques of receiving God's Grace.

Lines covered in this episode:

Child only knows about his requirements, he doesn't know about how to fulfill it. So when a child needs something he cries. And when a child cries, his mother immediately comes for help. Similarly the Divine Grace intervenes only when you are at the end of your resources.

Sadhana karu Pyare Part-4

In this episode of the series of discourses on Kripaluji Maharaj's kirtan "Sadhana Karu Pyare"(साधना करु प्यारे), Swami Mukundananda talks about desires and acquiring higher desires for God.
Giving up desire is only half the story. When the scriptures say, "give up desire" it means give up the degrading kinds of desires-those that pull the mind down. They don't say, give up the desire for God or God's knowledge. These are the right kind of desires. Those desires have to be enhanced. That after all, is spirituality and devotion.
