Bhagavad Gita in Hindi Chapter 12 Part - 19

Jagadguru Shankaracharya has asked all to contemplate upon the shortcomings or the flaws of the world. The fact that there is no happiness in this world needs to revised again and again in the mind to bring detachment. Swamijis says, "We are not Arjun to become all knowledgeable of Bhagavad Gita by listening to it once. We need to listen to the philosophy repeatedly, contemplate on it and practice to implement the knowledge of Gita in our day to day life."

Swami Mukundananda further says that our intellect does not allow us to confirm that there is no happiness in the world. How could we correct this, so that it becomes easier for us to get detached from the world and move ahead towards God? Swamiji gives 3 easy steps to see whether there is happiness in the world or not. If there is happiness in the world:

3. Then all should get it equally.

Bhagavad Gita in Hindi Chapter 12 Part - 18

In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 12, Bhakti Yog, The Yog of Devotion] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.

Intellect controls mind and thus we all are able to maintain perfect discipline in workplace, at home or anywhere we go or anything we do. Even a kid knows how to control his mind with the help of intellect. No kid wants to study, he will like to play all day. But when they sit for exam, they control their mind and sit in a exam hall for 3 hours and pays full attention to his answer sheet. "All of has the power to control our mind, we do not utilize it," says Swami Mukundananda. He says that when the intellect decides, the mind comes under control.

Swamiji also discusses about the meaning of Gayatri Mantra in this lecture. Gayatri Matra says, "The Lord who illuminates the 3 lokas, may He illuminate my intellect with the Divine knowledge towards the righteous path."
